Two best friends: one podcast
The Toni and Ryan Podcast began as a radio demo for Toni in 2021 but when clips where posted and went viral on TikTok and Instagram, many comments were asked where they could hear the full show. They took the hint and started their own show.
Every month, The Toni and Ryan Podcast now attracts 1.5M audio listens, 2.0M video episode views and 50M+ social views. They have a strong presence on Patreon where the "TARPer" (Toni and Ryan Podcast Listener) community feel heard, seen and free to be their silly selves.
The podcast has won a Webby Award, Australian Podcast Awards and RODE Creator Awards. Their videos and livestreams have also won Webby Awards, Mumbrella Publish Awards, AiMCO awards and been nominated for TikTok Creator Awards.
Toni trained as an audio engineer at WAPPA in Perth. She worked at KIIS1011 in Melbourne on the Jase and PJ Show. Toni lives with her husband Alex and French Bulldog Pippa in Melbourne.
Ryan met Toni at KIIS whilst hosting a fill in show while Jase and PJ were on holidays. Ryan is a former accountant, holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and is on the Board of AiMCO. He lives with his wife Brigitte, daughter Mabel and Kelpie BJ in Melbourne.
