Privacy policy

Last updated 20 October 2026

This is how Toni and Ryan collects, uses and looks after your personal information. We have kept it in plain English. "Toni and Ryan", "we", "us" and "our" means You Love To See It Pty Ltd (ABN 38 659 312 866), PO Box 2522, Regent West, Victoria 3072, Australia, and our UK company, You Love To See It (UK) Limited (Company No. 16998259). This policy covers this website and online store (toniandryan.com.au and toniandryan.com), our calendar claim site at tarpcalendar.com, our mailing lists, competitions, live shows, the Patreon reward sites we run for members, and any of our apps or sign in pages that link to this policy.

We are bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR also apply. If you are in California, the CCPA applies.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the show, the store and the community.

  • When you buy something, buy a ticket or claim a reward: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, what you ordered or claimed, delivery tracking, and payment details. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal or Afterpay under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your full card number.
  • When you join a mailing list, waitlist or register interest in a tour: your email address and, if you give it, your name and your closest city.
  • When you sign in with Patreon: your Patreon name, email address, member ID, membership tier, membership status and whether your latest payment went through, so we can check you are eligible for a member reward such as the yearly calendar.
  • When you sign in with Google: your Google account name, email address and profile picture, used only to sign you in and show who you are. See "Google user data" below.
  • When you enter a competition: your answers, for example a Golden Ticket TARPer entry.
  • When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
  • When you browse: standard technical information such as your IP address, approximate location (city and country, worked out from your IP address), browser, device type, the pages you look at and how you got here, collected through cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

  • To process, print, pack and post your orders, calendars and member rewards, and to send you order and shipping updates.
  • To check you are eligible for member perks, such as the Champion TARPer calendar.
  • To run competitions, including judging entries and contacting winners.
  • To plan live shows and tours, for example by seeing which cities people have registered interest from.
  • To send you the emails you asked for, like new episodes, live show announcements and store drops. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To answer your questions and sort out problems.
  • To understand how people use the site and the store so we can make them better.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our systems secure.
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and consumer law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the services we need to run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

  • Shopify, which hosts this website and store and sends our order emails.
  • Payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay).
  • Printers, warehouses and couriers that pack and deliver orders, calendars and rewards, in Australia, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe, including postal services such as Australia Post.
  • Our email platform, which sends our newsletters and alerts.
  • Patreon and Google, when you choose to sign in with them. Google also provides address search and secure storage for competition entries.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts some of our sites and forms.
  • Analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.
  • Our accountants and professional advisers, and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store or handle information outside Australia, mainly in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Union. We pick providers that look after information properly and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it to a standard consistent with Australian law.

Google user data

Where one of our apps or websites offers "Sign in with Google", we request only your basic profile (name, email address and profile picture). We use this information only to sign you in, to show you which account you are using, and to link your account to your membership or order history with us. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to provide the sign in and as described in this policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, keep your cart, remember you between visits, measure how the site is used and, where you have agreed, show you relevant ads on other platforms. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the store, like signing in, may not work without them. Shopify's own cookie list is at shopify.com/legal/cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for seven years to meet Australian tax law. We keep mailing list details until you unsubscribe. We keep sign in, competition and reward records while your membership or account is active and for a reasonable period after, then delete or de-identify them. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security.

Keeping it safe

We protect your information with trusted providers, secure connections, access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfect, so if something goes wrong that puts you at risk we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • show you the personal information we hold about you,
  • correct it if it is wrong,
  • delete it, where we are not required to keep it,
  • stop sending you marketing, which you can also do with the unsubscribe link in any email,
  • give you a copy in a portable format, or object to how we use it, where the GDPR applies.

Email us at hello@toniandryan.com.au and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or to your local data protection authority if you live outside Australia.

Kids

Our store and sites are for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
